Job Overview:

BioMérieux is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Material Handler for a 6 to 9 months contract in Hazelwood, MO. This role primarily involves preparing accurate orders for shipment, maintaining inventory accuracy, and providing general support in warehousing activities. The Material Handler will play a vital role in maintaining compliance with GMPs, ensuring efficient warehouse operations, and contributing to the timely delivery of materials to internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure quality, accuracy, and GMP compliance in shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations.

Safely use appropriate equipment to move and store materials in designated areas.

Efficiently pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment to meet customer demands.

Verify the accuracy and condition of shipments received.

Monitor and optimize warehouse space utilization.

Support data entry, cycle counting, and other warehousing tasks.

Collaborate effectively within a small, fast-paced team environment.

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent.

General knowledge of warehouse operations, including shipping and/or receiving experience.

Truck driving experience is preferred.

Skills and

Qualifications:



Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Effective interpersonal skills for collaborating with managers and team members.

Proficiency in using material handling equipment such as floor jacks, hand trucks, and order pickers.

Forklift operation experience is essential.

Basic computer knowledge; ability to use Microsoft Outlook and perform light data entry in Microsoft Excel.

Good close vision and hand dexterity for computer tasks.

Familiarity with SAP is a plus.

Demonstrated ability to follow directions and work independently with minimal supervision.

Comfortable working on ladders and standing for extended periods.

High level of mental alertness and attention to detail.

Willingness to work overtime as required.
