The Warehouse Associate role receives, packages, and distributes material, tools, equipment, and products within the Company Warehouse by performing the duties outlined below.
This is an on‑site hourly position. Workdays and hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Overtime is required to meet the demands of the business.
Key Responsibilities

- Operate company provided machines including forklift, stock picker and tower lift truck, after completion of company training and certification.
- Assist shipping and receiving departments by: unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, matching purchase orders to sales order, and distributing to sales associates for processing.
- Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed and/or shipped.
- Move materials and items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or to other designated areas.
- Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
- Fill requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distribute items to shipping or to designated route driver storage area.
- Ensure warehouse is accessible and safe for employees, vendors, outside salespeople and customer traffic.
- Assemble customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or shelves, or relocating orders to a holding area or shipping department.
- Mark materials with identifying information using appropriate method.
- Record amounts of materials or items received or distributed via appropriate computer program.
- Assist in counting of physical inventory.
- Weigh and count items for distribution within plant to ensure conformance to company standards.
- May be assigned facilities maintenance duties as needed.
- Complete requisition forms to order supplies from other departments.
- Organizing warehouse and work area to maintain an orderly area.
- Sweep, dust, and/or mop designated areas to maintain clean work area.
- Wear the proper safety equipment.

- High School Diploma/Equivalent or 6 months of experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment in lieu of education
- Available to work any shift and/or overtime as needed
Skills and Competencies
- Able to collaborate in a team setting
- Able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Basic math skills to function in the role
- Willingness to comply and support safety standards
This position works in a warehouse setting. Temperature is directly impacted by external weather conditions, and employee can be subject to extreme cold or extreme heat.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to use hands and fingers to type or dial, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, and reach with hands and arms.
The employee must regularly lift and/or move objects up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move objects up to 30 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
