Warehouse/Fulfillment Night Shift Supervisor

The Warehouse/Fulfillment Night Shift Supervisor oversees all warehouse operations during night hours, ensuring accurate, efficient, and timely order processing across Marketplace, E-Commerce, and Wholesale channels. This role leads the night shift team, drives operational excellence, ensures workplace safety, and serves as the primary on‑site authority for after‑hours problem solving and emergency response.

Key Responsibilities 1. Fulfillment & Warehouse Operations
  • Supervise nightly order fulfillment for Marketplace, E-Commerce, and Wholesale channels.
  • Ensure all orders are picked, packed, and shipped according to daily operational goals and service‑level expectations.
  • Monitor inventory movement during the shift, ensuring accuracy and reporting discrepancies.
  • Oversee incoming restock, returns processing, and replenishment tasks as needed.
  • Maintain organization, cleanliness, and adherence to ISO/warehouse standards.
  • Lead, train, and support night shift associates to maintain productivity and quality standards.
  • Assign tasks based on skill, workload, and operational priorities.
  • Conduct performance check‑ins and provide real‑time coaching or corrective feedback.
  • Foster a positive team environment focused on accountability, communication, and safety.
  • Handle call‑outs or staffing gaps by reorganizing workflow to meet nightly targets.
  • Serve as the designated point of contact for any after‑hours emergencies, including employee injuries, facility or equipment issues, safety hazards, operational interruptions.
  • Administer first‑response actions in accordance with company safety protocols.
  • Document all incidents and communicate them promptly to Leadership, HR, or Facilities.
4. Floor-Level Problem Solving
  • Troubleshoot operational issues such as inventory problems, order exceptions, equipment malfunctions, or carrier delays.
  • Escalate critical problems when needed while independently resolving routine issues.
  • Maintain continuous oversight of workflow and address bottlenecks proactively.
  • Ensure all equipment (e.g., scanners, packing stations) remains functional during the shift.
5. Reporting & Communication
  • Prepare end‑of‑shift reports summarizing production volumes, labor utilization, issues encountered, and follow‑up actions required.
  • Provide detailed handoffs to incoming supervisors to ensure smooth continuity across shifts.
  • Communicate product shortages, inventory discrepancies, or policy gaps to relevant teams.
