Senior Transportation Operations Manager (DOT Experience) is responsible for overseeing and optimizing high-volume transportation programs across multiple operational platforms. This role leads dispatch and logistics execution for OEM shuttle moves, hub rail yard operations, and regional transportation programs while ensuring operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and strong customer relationships.
This position plays a critical role in driving operational performance, improving reporting accuracy, managing transportation profitability, and coordinating effectively with internal teams and external partners. The Senior Transportation Operations Manager will also lead strategic improvements to support continued business growth and increasing transportation volume.

Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 5:00pm
Pay
: $85, Based on experience
Oversee high-volume transportation operations, including OEM shuttle moves and hub rail yard logistics.
Manage daily dispatch and transportation activity across multiple locations to ensure timely and accurate vehicle movement.
Lead operational execution and growth of key transportation programs, including regional shuttle initiatives.
Partner with commercial teams, dispatch teams, and regulatory stakeholders to align transportation operations with business needs.
Develop and enhance operational reporting to support regulatory communication and internal performance tracking.
Identify opportunities to improve dispatch workflows, operational efficiency, and cost effectiveness.
Address escalated operational issues, troubleshoot delays, and implement solutions to maintain service levels.
Maintain strong communication with customers and internal partners via phone and email.
Ensure compliance with transportation regulations, safety standards, and internal operational policies.
Support strategic planning and operational improvements to scale transportation programs as business demand grows.
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration
, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience7–12 years of transportation, logistics, or operations management experience
Experience managing high-volume transportation or dispatch operations
Knowledge of DOT compliance and transportation regulations
Experience in automotive logistics, fleet services, or vehicle transportation operations
Experience working with transportation management systems (Zendesk or similar platforms preferred)
Experience managing multi-site or regional transportation programs
Strong leadership and operational management skills
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
Ability to manage high-volume operations and tight deadlines
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Proven ability to improve operational processes and drive efficiency
Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and quality
