Transportation Dispatcher

Base pay range$25.00/hr – $25.00/hr
PayThe off‑season rate is $25.00 per hour. This rate will temporarily increase to $30.00 per hour during the summer peak season from June to September.
LocationLaguna Beach
HoursTuesday – Saturday: 11:00 am – 6:00 pm
Days off:
Sunday and Monday
- Schedules and dispatches drivers.
- Answers calls from clients and schedules services.
- Maintains records, logs, and schedules of the calls received to schedule transit services, drivers dispatched, and customer cancellations or no‑shows.
- Prepares reports on all activities occurring during shifts.
- Directs drivers through radio contact.
- Tracks operational issues/concerns using a Customer Relations Management System.
- Reports customer service and employee performance issues or concerns to appropriate management for resolution.
- Provides excellent customer service to clients, customers, and employees.
- Additional duties as assigned.
- Class B license with Passenger Endorsement
- DOT Medical Certification
- At least 2 years of Class B licensed driving experience.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Required K-4 documentation submitted within 30 days or less.
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
Experience2+ years in a dispatcher role preferred.
