Delivery​/Production Assistant

Compensation: $20.50+ (commensurate with experience)

• Preparation of roasted coffee and merchandise for packaging, shipping, and delivering
• Load weighing machines for bagging
• Prepare, print, label, and seal coffee bags
• Check all invoices for appropriate quantities, ensuring all products packed for shipments/deliveries meet the description with 100% accuracy
• Work with the Warehouse Manager to ensure that products meet quality standards
• Back-up the full-time driver by completing deliveries as needed for local wholesale partners with company-provided vehicle
• Complete all logs/forms/checklists (required at the beginning, during, and end of each shift)
• Keep all workstations clean and organized at all times
• Provide professional interactions while following all company guidelines for safe practices

• Comfortable wearing hearing protection, gloves, and hair covering (including beard covering) for the entire duration of shifts
• Ability to comply with all safety protocols and procedures in place that exceed CDC, Cal/OSHA, and industry-specific guidelines
• Excellent customer service skills
• Punctual, detail-oriented, organized, and works with a sense of urgency
• Reliability and the ability to show up each day to work are essential
• Follow all delivery routes within an expected time frame
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Must be able to provide a current copy of a clean California DMV-issued driver record (driver record must have been generated no more than 30 days prior to application date)
• Must pass a drug test (due to working with machinery and operating company-provided vehicles)
• Employment may be made contingent on passing a job-related physical examination
• Basic computer proficiency (Windows, Microsoft Office, email, etc.) and the ability to learn other programs
• A high school diploma or GED required

• Previous delivery driver experience is a plus
• Certification to drive a forklift is a plus
• Previous warehouse experience is a plus
