• Know the route and maintain alertness to monitor passenger welfare while in route.
• Communicate behavioral problems and stop conditions with the driver.
• Assist in pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections of the bus.
• Help students in loading and unloading processes.
• Cooperate and communicate with school personnel, students, and parents.
• Attend all safety and training meetings.
• Conduct emergency evacuation from the bus, including using emergency exit doors.
• Open and close service doors and move up and down steps multiple times daily.
• Clean the inside of the bus.
• Assist the driver when necessary to safely direct the vehicle backwards.
