Trenton, MO – Part Time School Bus Driver.

As a First Student Part‑time School Bus Driver, you will play a vital role in your community and in the lives of the students you transport. You will pick up students before school and drop them off after school. No experience as a bus driver is required – we provide industry‑leading training.

• A split shift: early morning before‑school pickup and after‑school drop‑off with free hours in between.
• A guaranteed shift per school day; no nights or weekends unless requested.
• Additional hours from trips and charters when available.

• $18.90 / hour starting wage, based on driver experience.
• $750 bonus if the CLP is presented within 7 days of completing the Virtual CLP class.
• $250 bonus if the CLP is presented within 14 days of completing the Virtual CLP class.
• Medical, dental, and vision benefits plus 401(k) retirement savings plan (benefits vary by location or CBA).
• Paid CDL training.
• Child‑Ride‑Along Program for working parents.

• No college degree or high school diploma required.
• Military experience is encouraged.
• Returning to workforce or seeking a second job.

• 21 years or older.
• Has a valid driver’s license for at least 3 years.

This position is subject to DOT drug testing as it is a safety‑sensitive employee. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including marijuana, for any reason.
