Position Overview  The Pine School is seeking a dedicated and experienced Head Varsity Boys Basketball Coach to join our athletic staff. This individual will provide strong leadership, mentorship, and vision for our entire boys basketball program. The position will work collaboratively with assistant varsity and middle school coaches to ensure alignment, continuity, and sustained growth across all levels.

The ideal candidate will be a knowledgeable basketball coach who is committed to developing players both on and off the court, emphasizing skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship. As part of our close-knit PINE community, the coach will play an important role in helping student-athletes grow in confidence, character, and competitive spirit while contributing to the overall success of the basketball program.##

Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications
* Experience coaching basketball (school-based, collegiate, club, or related setting)
* Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through
* Strong communication and customer-service mindset
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously
* Works well independently and as part of a greater team
* Professional, flexible, and solution-oriented

Physical Requirements
* The role requires working in both office environments and outdoor athletic venues, often in various weather conditions.
* Must be able to sit or stand at a desk while working on a computer for prolonged periods of time.
* Must be able to lift and/or move equipment, boxes, or materials, usually ranging from 10 to 50 pounds.
* This position may require working evenings and weekends for athletic events
