Job Description Summary

Loch Lloyd Country Club is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Tennis and Pickleball Junior Coach to lead and grow our junior tennis and pickleball programs. This dynamic individual will play a key role in fostering a love of the game for players of all skill levels while helping develop competitive athletes in a vibrant and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Program Development and Leadership:

• Design, implement, and manage junior tennis and pickleball programs for all skill levels, from beginner to advanced players.
• Develop engaging lesson plans, clinics, camps, and competitive opportunities for junior players.
• Foster a fun, inclusive, and developmentally appropriate learning environment for youth athletes.

Coaching and Player Development:

• Provide private and group instruction tailored to individual and group needs.
• Utilize modern coaching techniques and player development strategies to cultivate technical, tactical, and mental skills.
• Mentor and inspire junior athletes to reach their potential in both recreational and competitive play.

Event Organization and Community Engagement:

• Plan and execute tournaments, exhibitions, and social events to engage junior members and families.
• Collaborate with the recreation and membership teams to promote junior tennis and pickleball programs.
• Build strong relationships with families to ensure program satisfaction and retention.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience coaching junior tennis and/or pickleball players, with a track record of success.
• Strong knowledge of both tennis and pickleball, including rules, techniques, and competitive play.
• USPTA, PTR, PPR, or similar certification preferred.
• Excellent communication, organizational, management, and leadership skills.
• Passionate about youth development and creating a positive, encouraging learning environment.
