Norwest Christian College is currently seeking to appoint gifted and energetic Sports Coaches to assist with leading and training our students to compete in the Hill Zone Sports Association competition.

We are currently looking for casual sports coaches for the following sports:

• Football
• Touch Football
• Futsal
• Cricket
• Volleyball
• Basketball

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate at interview a personal faith and commitment to the Lord Jesus Christ and a lifestyle consistent with that faith, including an active commitment to a Christian fellowship, as well as the following skills and experience:

• Provide coaching and feedback in a positive and respectful manner.
• Set high expectations for athlete behaviour, language, and sportsmanship.
• Support players in developing respect for game officials and their decisions.
• Ensure all coaching and game instructions adhere to school and HZSA guidelines.
• Ensure all players receive adequate instruction, and support, providing opportunities for improvement.
• Consider the future wellbeing of athletes when making decisions about their ability to continue competing or training, seeking professional medical opinions as necessary.

Candidates shortlisted for interview will be expected to provide a Working with Children Check clearance number or clearance letter. You must live and be able to work in NSW to apply for this position.
