Software Engineering, Blood Culture Co-Op

Description

This is a software development position. The Software Engineer Co-op will work under the direction of a technical lead and in collaboration with other software engineers to design and develop software application code. • Analysis and implementation of use cases and user stories in application code, including relational database modeling
• Detection, analysis, and resolution of defects and inconsistencies
• Creation and maintenance of unit tests to verify function-level behavior
• Contribution to automated tests to verify user-level behavior
• Perform all work in compliance with company quality procedures and standards
• Perform other duties as assigned

Required Education, Training, and Experience

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
• At least 1 year of a scientific degree program completed
• No previous experience required
• Must be currently enrolled in a BS or MS program in a related life sciences, computer science, data science, or microbiology program

• Familiarity with software design concepts and software application lifecycle
