We’re looking for a Technical Team Lead, iOS Engineer (Swift

UI) to join our innovative mobile engineering team in Irvine, CA. In this role, you’ll help shape the next generation of the  iOS app, designing and building brand-new features that enhance how renters discover, tour, and connect with properties. Your work will directly impact millions of users and play a central role in advancing our mobile platform strategy. As a senior member of the team, you’ll lead the development of modern, scalable iOS applications using Swift, Swift

UI, Combine, and the latest Apple frameworks.

You’ll collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to create beautiful, performant, and intuitive experiences that bring our vision of seamless real estate discovery to life. At CoStar, engineers are empowered to experiment, innovate, and drive measurable impact. You’ll work in an Agile, Scrum‑based environment that values craftsmanship, collaboration, and continuous learning. This position is located in Irvine, CA and offers a schedule of 4 days onsite, 1 day remote.

Responsibilities
  • Develop iOS applications that scale to reach millions of users.
  • Continuously evaluate emerging technologies to identify opportunities, trends, and best practices that can strengthen CoStar’s technology platform and development practices.
  • Work with the team to create user interface layouts for customers and interfaces to backend web services.
  • Design and develop systems and libraries that are highly reusable and maintainable.
  • Understand CoStar’s product architecture and frameworks and bring ideas to the table.
  • Collaborate with different teams and other iOS developers to exchange new ideas and improvements.
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited, not‑for‑profit, in‑person college/university.
  • Strong track record of commitment to prior employers.
  • 7+ years of experience developing iOS applications.
  • Expertise in iOS:
    Objective‑C, Swift, Cocoa Framework, Xcode IDE, Interface Builder, and a passion for learning and sharing.
  • Deep knowledge of common object‑oriented programming and design patterns, MVC, MVVM, Dependency Injection, and more.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills
  • 1+ year of experience mentoring and leading a team.
  • Experience with SQL databases and full‑stack development.

This position offers a base salary range of $144,000–$223,000, based on relevant skills and experience and includes a generous benefits plan.
