The Opportunity:

Our San Diego-based client is a profitable, high-growth startup transforming healthcare. While most AI companies are still searching for a use case, this platform is already used by 20,000+ clinicians to automate the most tedious parts of their day.

We are looking for a heavy-hitting, hands-on Senior Staff Full Stack Engineer to report directly to the CTO. This is not a maintenance role - you will be architecting greenfield systems that integrate cutting‑edge AI directly into the providers workflow, saving thousands of hours and reducing burnout across the industry.

• AI Integration:
  Build high-performance AI features and developer‑automation pipelines that push the boundaries of LLM implementation in healthcare.
• Product Ownership:
  Collaborate directly with clinicians to translate complex medical workflows into seamless, automated experiences.
• Technical Excellence:
  Mentor junior/senior peers and set the standard for clean, scalable architecture and modern Dev Ops practices.

• 6+ Years of
  
  Experience:
  
  Proven track record in a Senior or Staff IC role, specifically building and scaling enterprise‑grade production systems.
• Modern Stack Mastery:
  Deep expertise in Type Script, React, Node.js, and Mongo

• API Architect:
  Extensive experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs and managing complex No
  
  SQL data models.
• Startup DNA: A high‑velocity mindset with the ability to drive projects autonomously and thrive in a build‑from‑scratch environment.

• Hands‑on experience with AI/ML pipelines, LLMs, or data processing workflows.
• Infrastructure knowledge: GCP, Kubernetes, Terraform, or distributed systems.
• Experience in Healthcare (HIPAA/SOC2) or building high‑stakes, regulated software.
