Sr. Back-End Engineer

We are looking for a top of the line Sr. Back-End Engineer who is ready to work hard and rapidly grow with our client.

From launching disstruptivenew features to rapidly experimenting with fresh verticals, you’ll help shape what’s next for our client. This role is perfect for someone who is able to be move quickly in the world of Web and Mobile development, while having good architectural and design sense to build effectively.

You are a good fit for this role if you: work hard (this is not a 9 to 5 role), are ambitious, have a very high attention to detail, and are always looking for creative ways to solve problems.

100% on-site role in San Francisco.

• Lead the development, optimization and expansion ofcore backend services.
• Drive best practices in performance, security, and scalability as our client scales rapidly
• Work closely with Product, Design and Front-end teams to deliver seamless, intuitive user experiences.
• Own key architectural decisions, mentoring engineers, and elevating back-end excellence across the company.
• Build out data-driven services and systems to improve the customer experience.
• Mentor an influence engineering culture, fostering innovation and technical ownership within the team.

• Startup mindset
• 6+ years of back-end development experience, with deep expertise with Typescript/Python.
• Experience leading technical initiatives and shipping scalable, high-performance systems to support web and mobile applications.
• Strong knowledge of modern back-end tooling.
• Strong knowledge of bash scripting and linux/unix commands
• A passion for creating fast, optimized and elegant solutions to difficult problems.
• Expertise with AI code generation tools
• Salary: $200,000-$300,000 annually+ equity
