Our platform drives higher conversions, lowers servicing costs, and improves borrower outcomes.
The OpportunityWe’re hiring an experienced AI Agent Engineer to design, tune, and deploy production-grade voice agents across financial services use cases as we rapidly scale our customer base. This role will also be responsible for designing agents across use cases, customer profiles, and regulatory needs, while shaping our long-term strategy to stay at the forefront of AI-powered voice automation.
You’ll collaborate with the sales, compliance, and engineering teams to:
- Translate client requirements and compliance rules into robust conversational logic and prompt flows.
- Design and optimize prompt architectures and conversational flows for AI voice agents.
- Write software tools that enable AI agents to interact with our software infrastructure.
- Run A/B tests and human-in-the-loop QA to improve agent performance over time.
- Tune voice synthesis, pronunciation, and emotional tone to deliver natural, empathetic, and persuasive borrower conversations.
- Own the roadmap for voice AI capabilities, helping define what great sounds like, and how we get there.
You’ll thrive in this role if you:
- Are an avid prompt hacker who loves crafting and refining multi-turn, emotionally intelligent dialogue and obsessing over how to make it just a little better every time.
- Capable of coding and developing basic software tools forLLMs.
- Have hands-on experience building complex voice agents using leading LLM and voice technologies (e.g., OpenAI Realtime, GPT-4o, Eleven Labs, Deepgram, Speechmatics).
- Motivated to keep current with the state of the art for turn-taking, latency, and interruption handling in real-time voice systems.
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy collaborating as part of a high-performing, execution-focused team.
- Care deeply about building agents that are empathetic and compliant in high-stakes financial settings.
- Experience in regulated or high-trust environments (finance, healthcare, or government).
- Have experience optimizing voice prosody, pronunciation, and pacing for clarity and tone or advanced/academic knowledge of speech-to-text / TTS pipelines and evaluation metrics.
- Experience working with multiple different conversation design tools (Voiceflow, Rasa, Dialogflow) or real-time agent frameworks.
- Fluent in Spanish.
