R&D Software Engineer III

Our client, a leading organization in the technology and software development sector, is seeking a R&D Software Engineer III to join their innovative team. As a R&D Software Engineer III, you will be part of the Research & Development department supporting software impact assessment and application development initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a collaborative spirit, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: R&D Software Engineer III

Location: San Diego, CA

Pay Range:

• Develop, create, and modify general computer applications software or specialized utility programs.
• Analyze user needs and develop tailored software solutions to optimize operational efficiency.
• Design software or customize software for client use, ensuring usability and performance.
• Work individually or coordinate microservice development as part of a team, including UI/UX analysis and design.
• Supervise offshore developers and ensure project milestones are met with quality standards.

• Hands-on experience developing applications utilizing React and JavaScript.
• Experience in using Agile methodologies such as SCRUM, Kanban, or TDD.
• At least 4 years of experience in front-end software development.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field; MS preferred.
• Proficiency with project management tools like Jira, requirements management tools such as Jama, and version control systems like Git Hub.
