This role is for a Senior Software Engineer on our Spring Serve Ad Server team, building a globally distributed ad‑serving system that handles hundreds of billions of requests a day. You will take on initiatives to improve system delivery, tackle hard technical challenges, and contribute to a small, passionate team.

• Participate in back‑end design, development, testing, release, and maintenance of critical ad‑serving applications.
• Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables with technical expertise.
• Compose reliable, maintainable solutions to challenging problems.
• Translate business requirements into technical designs and project plans.
• Write production‑ready code and unit tests that meet system and business requirements.
• Respond to feature requests, bug reports, performance issues, and ad‑hoc questions.
• Collaborate with multiple teams to deliver quality software.
• Leverage AI‑assisted tools in your development process.
• Support the operation of services in testing environments and production.
• Perform design and code reviews.

• BA/BS degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Primary experience in Java for high‑throughput, low‑latency back‑end services; familiarity with asynchronous patterns, concurrency, and frameworks such as Vert.x and Dropwizard is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of algorithms, data structures, and ability to weigh business and technical trade‑offs.
• Experience with AI‑assisted development tools (Git Hub Copilot, Cursor, Claude).
• Proficiency with Maven, Git, containerization (Docker), build tools (Code Build, Jenkins), and Jira.

CO: $135,000 – $145,000 plus annual variable bonus and equity (NASDAQ: MGNI).
CA: $145,000 – $165,000 plus annual variable bonus and equity (NASDAQ: MGNI).
NY: $145,000 – $165,000 plus annual variable bonus and equity (NASDAQ: MGNI).
