Senior Software Engineer Testing

GLIDER Test Required: Testing Software Engineer – Advanced

Top Required Technical Skills:

• Java (basic coding required)
• Microservices testing
• BDD framework (Cucumber; prior BDD experience is a plus)
• Basic knowledge of Oracle & Postgres databases
• Angular experience (nice to have)

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure code design quality and compliance with enterprise standards
• Design and develop complex applications, integrations, and interfaces
• Drive performance engineering across enterprise systems
• Contribute to advanced code development, review, and day-to-day support
• Evaluate and recommend tools/technologies to support testing needs
• Develop technical work products and own solution design
• Lead projects across the full SDLC (requirements → testing → deployment)
• Define development strategy & gating criteria for production readiness
• Review monitoring practices and proactively address issues
• Establish & enforce coding/testing guidelines through team reviews
• Mentor and coach team members on quality, performance, and security

All About You:

• Strong knowledge of Agile software development processes
• Hands-on experience with UI development (Angular JS)
• Database experience (Oracle, advanced SQL scripting)
• Ability to integrate open-source & vendor products into systems
• Skilled at planning, leading, and collaborating with cross-functional teams
• Ability to create flowcharts, decision trees, and wireframes (Visio, PPT, DOC)
• Experience in financial services, cards, or payments industry (preferred)
• Ability to mentor and guide junior engineers
