Property Focus: Housing for Formerly Homeless, Veterans, Transitional Aged Youth
This is an in-person position working at a few sites in the Los Angeles area. It is headquartered in Willowbrook.
Hiring Range: $23.69 to $27.87
Pay Based On Experience, Skills, And Internal Equity.

Job Summary

The Life Pathways Specialist is responsible for hands-on implementation of Linc Housing’s permanent supportive services model connected to the 4 Life Pathway pillars of Workforce Development, Financial Capability, Access to Technology and Health & Wellbeing. The Life Pathways Specialist is responsible for maintaining strong relationships with residents and being a familiar member of the community while also working closely with property teams, service providers, and other staff members to design, market, and implement services that meet the needs of the community.

This position is also responsible for developing policies, protocol and best practices with members of the team. The Life Pathways Specialist will focus on the following areas:

  • Provides workforce development series, financial capability opportunities, access to technology and some health & wellbeing opportunities to residents in a cluster of supportive housing communities.
  • Organizes partners or facilitates group sessions evenly across all communities in each cluster connected to the 4 Linc Housing Life Pathways pillars
  • Creates a regular series of 1:1 support sessions for individuals needing extra assistance
Essential Functions
  • Assessment - Engage in a community assessment process, including surveying residents, identifying community assets, and local community partners that enhance Linc Housing’s community development and services platforms
  • Research – keep up to date with industry developments and initiatives. Collect necessary information to facilitate workshops and or the intake process from interested residents. Conduct surveys for research as needed. Collect attendance for all workshops and programs
  • Collaboration – work in tandem with property teams to assess community needs, understand workshop objectives, target audience, and outcomes. Develop agendas, activities, content, and materials to engage participants effectively.
  • Programs & Workshops - Develop, design and provide programs that promote community involvement, workforce development and economic mobility. Manage the logistics of workshops, including scheduling, setup, and technical requirements, while effectively communicating with stakeholders, participants, and team members about workshop details and expectations.
  • Relationship Building - Establish and maintain positive relationships with property teams & residents to ensure ongoing engagement and learning.
  • Partners - Build relationships with partner organizations to bring expertise and ensure effective service delivery. Attend meetings of community organizations, as approved by supervisor
  • Documentation & Data - Submit all documentation, timesheets and reimbursements in a timely manner. Ensure accurate, complete, and timely submission of intake forms and paperwork. Prepare accurate and detailed reports based on data collected from programs and initiatives to show impact
