With plans to launch our aircraft in the US and Dubai, we're now scaling manufacturing and preparing for the launch of our commercial service.

We are seeking a skilled Journeyperson Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have comprehensive experience in various aspects of construction, from structural framing to finishing work, and will be responsible for executing high-quality carpentry tasks in accordance with project blueprints and safety standards.

• Perform steel stud framing for commercial and industrial structures.
• Execute concrete forming and finishing tasks to ensure structural integrity and aesthetic quality.
• Install, tape, and finish drywall for interior and exterior applications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and building plans to understand project requirements.
• Operate various types of construction equipment safely and efficiently.
• Utilize typical hand tools and power tools common to the carpentry trade.
• Collaborate with the construction team to ensure projects are completed on schedule and to specifications.

• Minimum of 4 years of professional experience as a carpenter.
• Proven background in steel stud framing and concrete forming/finishing.
• Proficiency in drywall installation and finishing.
• Strong ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and technical drawings.
• Experience and competence in equipment operation.
• Proficiency with typical carpentry hand tools and power tools.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and quality craftsmanship.

• Previous experience in a similar industrial or specialized construction environment.
• Relevant trade certifications or formal apprenticeship completion.

Compensation at Joby is a combination of base pay and Restricted Stock Units (RSUs). The target base pay for this position is $37-$50/hr the compensation package will be determined by job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
