This opportunity is for our Electric Heat business. Electric Heat is a trusted leader in electric heating and ventilation solutions for commercial, industrial, and residential applications. Backed by the strength of ASPEQ Heating Group and Marley Engineered Products, we offer a wide range of standard and customized products through leading brands like QMark, Indeeco, Berko, and Brasch.

How you will make an Impact (Job Summary)SPX is a diverse team of unique individuals who all make an impact. As a Maintenance Technician, you will install, maintain, and repair machinery, equipment, physical structures, and pipe and electrical systems.

Required Experience- One to three months related experience and/or training
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Completed courses at an accredited technical school for:
Maintenance Electricity (3 terms), Hydraulics (2 terms), Pipe fitting (2 terms), Industrial Maintenance Mechanics (1 term), Electric Arc Welding (1 term).
- Employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit and taste or smell. The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. - Employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; high, precarious places; outside weather conditions; risk of electrical shock and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals. The noise level in the work environment is usually very loud.
