Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled and safety-focused HVAC Technician to install, service, and maintain heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems for residential and commercial customers. You’ll work directly with customers and internal teams to ensure systems operate efficiently, reliably, and safely across a variety of environments. - Perform installation and configuration of HVAC systems, including:
- Air conditioning units
- Furnaces and heat pumps
- Ventilation and duct systems
- Indoor air quality equipment and controls
- Conduct routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs to ensure systems function safely and efficiently.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control issues, and perform troubleshooting and corrective action.
- Interpret technical diagrams, blueprints, and manufacturer specifications for accurate installation and servicing.
- Install and charge refrigerant lines, wiring, and control wiring per manufacturer specifications and code standards.
- Ensure safe operation by following industry safety practices, local building codes, and OSHA guidelines.
- Maintain job documentation and service records, and communicate system operation and maintenance information to customers.
- High School Diploma or GED (Required)
- 1–3+ years of HVAC installation, service, and maintenance experience in residential or commercial environments
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints
- Experience using HVAC tools and diagnostic equipment
- Valid Driver’s License (Required)
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions and perform physically demanding tasks
- EPA Section 608 Refrigerant Certification (preferred)
- OSHA 10 Certification
- Technical training in HVAC systems, refrigeration, or mechanical trades
- Experience with indoor air quality systems or smart controls
- Full-time role serving the expanding Platte City and surrounding Missouri market

This is a full‑time, in‑person role based in Platte City, MO
, where you’ll perform installation, maintenance, and repair work at customer sites and service locations. The position requires working in varying weather conditions, climbing, lifting, and accessing mechanical equipment while maintaining strong safety standards.
You’ll interact directly with customers and cross‑functional teams to ensure quality service, system reliability, and customer satisfaction.
