HVAC Lead Technician

You’re a seasoned HVAC-R pro who’s done it all, but now, you’re looking for a role where you can take the lead, own your craft, and stop cleaning up other people’s mistakes. This is that role.

• $30–$40/hr based on your experience and certifications

• Full-time schedule:
  Monday–Friday, 8 am–4 pm

• On-call and weekend shifts only when needed. Not your life, just your job

• Bonus opportunities after your first year, tied to performance and revenue brought in

• Company van is available after 30 days of employment; may be used during the workday before eligibility, with take-home privileges granted after the initial 30-day period.

• Serve as lead HVAC-R technician based out of Hazelwood, MO, and covering a 30-mile radius

• Oversee service, repair, and installation of HVAC-R systems (80% commercial / 20% residential)

• Handle job site management, customer communication, and field decision-making

• Perform system diagnostics, troubleshoot callbacks, and ensure quality workmanship across every job

• Represent the company with professionalism, integrity, and a customer-first mindset

• Seek and identify new customer opportunities in the field (you'll be rewarded for it)

• Back up the owner when he’s not available, because you’re the go-to

• Ideally, 5+ years of hands-on HVAC-R experience (3–5 years considered with a strong leadership background), including installs and service

• EPA Certification

• Valid Driver’s License

• A journeyman’s license (or equivalent county license) is required

• Ability to read MEPs, which are electrical, mechanical, and plumbing blueprints

• High School diploma or equivalent required

• Ability to lead jobs independently and communicate clearly with both customers and teammates

• Comfortable with occasional on-call and weekend responsibilities
