We are looking for a Installation Engineer to join their team in the Netherlands. The role involves travelling to clients in other countries in Europe. A full and clean driving license is a must.
Job Profile for Installation EngineerResponsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Perform hands-on installation work and supervise employed and contracted engineers across all aspects of AV, sound, lighting, access control, and network installation within budget and to high-quality and safety standards. This includes: projection and display equipment, multi-room distribution, AV equipment, sound systems, cable management, standard AV/IT connectors, equipment mounting, fixing, cable routing, fault finding, commissioning, and installation of turnstiles, car park barriers, and maglocks
- Communicate regularly with the Project Manager and record job progression, costs, and issues accurately
- Complete administrative tasks such as job forms, timesheets, mileage and expenses claims, stock usage, and equipment or material returns
- Interpret and understand technical drawings and schematics
- Keep up-to-date with technical information and complete necessary training to meet the role’s technical requirements
- Monitor time spent on site and consider the cost impact on the business
- Must be fluent in English, both written and spoken
- Practical qualification and experience in an electrical or telecommunications subject
- ECS/CSCS cardholder; SSSTS level training
- Trained to IPAF and PASMA standards for working at heights
- Full and clean driving license
- Extensive relevant qualification and experience gained in a technical capacity in the AV, Telecommunications, Access Control, or similar environment
- Excellent understanding of integrated AV, Lighting, Sound, Access Control, and Telecommunication systems, including Wi-Fi, IP, and wired networks
- Expert knowledge in specific electrical, electronic, or telecommunication disciplines
- Excellent product knowledge, such as AMX, Extron, and Cisco
- Ability to work from schematics, terminating sheets, site plans, and project drawings
- Experienced and confident working at heights
