Overview
Summary: Provides technical assistance over the phone to on site field technicians and end users of AAON.
EssentialJob Duties And Responsibilities
- Answers and solves technical support calls on AAON controls.
- Assists in testing and troubleshooting AAON digital controls.
- Performs job site startup and troubleshooting with field personnel.
- Evaluates the need for escalation to Mechanical Support / Engineering and Controls Engineering.
- Performs administrative duties associated with controls support position. Use Test Bench to assist field technicians with hardware I/O, SOO, and Applications.
- Must be available for after hours field support during the work week, weekends, and holidays as needed. This is subject to change according to business needs.
- Some travel is expected for this position.
High School Diploma or equivalent. Any Technical Trade School training is preferred. Electrical Controls and Instrumentation Automation is a plus. HVAC or Electrical training is preferred.

- Electronic/digital low voltage controls
- Multi-Meter
- Knowledge of electronics
- Microsoft Suite
- Internet software
- Contact management systems
- Read Unit Wiring Schematics
- Lift up to 10lbs.
- Required to sit, use hands talk and hear 85 % of work hours.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, depth perception, ability to adjust focus, and ability to see color.
