Position Description
Ryder is immediately hiring a Full Time Warehouse Maintenance Technician in City of Industry, California
Warehouse Positions Pay Weekly
- Hourly Pay: $21.50 per hour
We want the right Warehouse Associate to join us at Ryder and work in the Safest Supply Chain Environment with State of the Art Equipment
- Products being handled: various boxes and consumer goods
- Equipment used for position: box cutter and utility cart

- High school diploma or equivalent
- 8-10 years plant/warehouse general maintenance experience, including electrical and mechanical repair and troubleshooting
- Has the ability to make quick, reliable decisions that represent both the customer and Ryder
- Good organizational, communication, and planning skills
- Vocational or technical certification preferred
- Experience operating forklift equipment required
- Equipment certification may be required
Some positions require additional screening that may include employment and education verification; motor vehicle records check and a road test; and/or badging or background requirements of the customer to which you are assigned.
Responsibilities- Performs maintenance and troubleshooting functions on all warehousing equipment in an independent and effective manner
- Maintains and troubleshoots plant utility systems including fire protection, water, electrical, air, and vacuum as applicable
- Understands shop maintenance, parts inventory, parts ordering, and plant reporting systems
- Performs routine forklift repairs
- Maintains batteries and related equipment
- Performs routine preventive maintenance (PM) and maintains records of repairs
- If required, provides training, including aspects of safety, quality, sanitation, and efficiency of packaging/warehouse equipment, for operations associates
- Additional duties as assigned, overtime as needed
