The City of Gloucester is now accepting applications for the full‑time, in‑person position of Maintenance Craftsman Public Utilities for the DPW. Under the direction of the Utilities Working Foreman, the incumbent supervises the daily work assignment of a Utilities Division work crew. The nature of work requires some physical effort as the employee may be required to operate heavy equipment and/or lift and move pipes, parts, etc.
This is a full‑time, in‑person, 40‑hour‑per‑week, benefit‑eligible position. Monday through Friday, 7:00 am–3:00 pm. Salary range is $38.80 – $43.89 per hour based on qualifications and experience.
