Machine Mechanic

Craft and Technical Solutions is a fast-growing Marine and Industrial Staffing Company with offices all over the country. We partner with businesses as well as job-seekers to place individuals into positions efficiently. We are currently in need of Machine Mechanics to join our team in San Diego , CA!

Pay rate: $30/hour

• Knowledge of diesel engines with the ability to do basic maintenance & repair; oil changes, fuel filters, etc..
• Knowledge of electrical systems associated with various types of construction equipment, 12
  
  VDC, 120-460 VAC systems.
• Ability to operate shop equipment, tools, and drive a forklift.
• Ability to lift up to 75lbs as required by manager/job need.
• Willingness to travel to job sites and repair equipment around the tidewater area at a minimum

• Must have a good driving record with no criminal record & be able to pass a drug test.
• Due to the nature of our business, we will be in and around government shipyards and facilities. This requires that you are able to pass a background check and have no felonies to access these yards.
• CDL license for hauling equipment to and from job sites is desired but not required.
• Must bring the majority of your own tools to the shop. You will have an area to store them, but few items are supplied as all our techs use their own tools.
