What you can expectAs an Aircraft Maintenance Technician, you will perform general mechanical tasks on aircraft and related systems, troubleshoot electrical/mechanical/hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and conduct inspections on sophisticated civilian aircraft. Each day brings new experiences and opportunities for growth.
Key Responsibilities- Perform general mechanical tasks on aircraft and related systems.
- Removal and installation of panels and components.
- Troubleshoot and problem‑solve aircraft system/component issues.
- Defuel aircraft.
- Engine removal and installations.
- Operate ground support equipment.
- Inspect and evaluate aircraft and components.
- Assist with aircraft movement and performance runs/taxiing.
- Maintain and repair shop facility, equipment, and tooling.
- Use basic computer skills to navigate electronic training, manuals, and maintenance databases.
- Perform any other job‑related duties as assigned by supervisor or management.
High school diploma or equivalent. A valid driver’s license approved for airline travel or a valid passport is ideal but not mandatory.
AMT Level Requirements- AMT I: Airframe or Powerplant license required;
Airframe preferred. 0‑2 years of experience in aviation maintenance, avionics, or similar. Limited to moderate knowledge of general maintenance; requires close supervision. - AMT II: Airframe or Powerplant license required;
Airframe preferred. 2‑4 years of experience. Experience on corporate aircraft is preferred. Requires general supervision and detailed instruction for special assignments. - AMT III: Airframe license required;
Powerplant highly preferred. 4‑6+ years of experience. Experience on corporate aircraft highly preferred. Full knowledge of general, detailed, and special assignments. - AMT IV (Master): Airframe and Powerplant licenses required. 6+ years of experience. Extensive experience on corporate aircraft platforms. Subject‑matter expert in all job areas.
