HOME CONSTRUCTION - FINISH - THREE STONE HOMES - ROERSVILLE, MO
Job summary:
Skilled Construction Worker – Home Finish. The Skilled Construction Worker will perform a wide range of physical labor tasks to support the team on each construction site to include home finish tasks such as interior trim, drywall, painting and general carpentry.
$20.00/hr – $25.00/hr

- Assists other skilled workers as assigned, including demolition, carrying lumber, or construction work such as drywall, trim, plumbing, concrete, siding, flooring, painting, electrical, etc.
- Unloads materials such as lumber or bags of cement and distributes them to appropriate location as identified by supervisor, project plans, or specifications.
- Prepares layout area where construction will take place by measuring, marking, or recording openings or distances.
- Prepares tools and materials for other skilled workers such as mixing cement or preparing flooring for installation.
- Performs all phases of remodeling and construction from basic to leading in specific labor; may include digging trenches, erecting scaffolding, cleaning rubble, debris and trash, removing hazardous materials.
- Operates a wide variety of hand and power tools.
- Finishes drywall and installs trim and doors on every project.
- Cleans jobsite at the end of the day, ensuring trash is disposed of and materials or equipment properly stored.
- Ensures safety protocols are followed and safety equipment is worn.
- Performs other related duties as assigned to support the team.
- Ability to listen to, understand, and follow directions.
- Ability to remain flexible as specific assignments change.
- Ability to effectively communicate with other team members.
- Ability to identify hazards or potential hazards and communicate them immediately.
- Ability to work with a variety of personalities.
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic as needed to count and take inventory.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Proficiency in two or more skilled trades, required.
- Interior remodeling experience, required.
- Advanced drywall finisher preferred.
- Must have physical strength, balance, hand-eye coordination, and stamina necessary to complete jobs in various areas.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 80 pounds and push or pull 50-pound loads at a time.
- Must be able to work in all weather conditions.
- Must be able to stand and walk up to ten hours per day and climb multiple sets of stairs while carrying materials weighing between 40 and 60 pounds.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule with occasional long hours.
- Must be able to travel occasionally, including overnight stays.
- Clear background check, driving record, and drug screening, required.
The Skilled Construction Worker is supervised by the Construction Lead and may be assigned work by other senior staff members. This is a safety-sensitive position.
