Job Description

Electrician at GUESS, Inc.

• Repair and maintain electrical, air conditioning, and lighting systems.
• Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical/electronic wiring and fixtures using hand and power tools.
• Diagnose malfunctioning systems, locate causes of breakdowns, and correct problems.
• Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits using tools such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes.
• Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures based on job specifications and local codes.
• Place conduit and pull insulated wires through the conduit to complete circuits between boxes.
• Perform periodic inspections of electrical systems and equipment to identify defects and prevent breakdowns.
• Check electrical equipment such as transformers and circuit breakers regularly.
• Review blueprints to install outlets, circuits, load centers, and other electrical equipment.
• Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, and other components.
• Test all connections after installation to ensure proper functioning and safety.
• Respond expeditiously to electrical system and equipment breakdowns.
• Maintain air conditioning: diagnose causes of problems, perform emergency repairs, and make routine adjustments.
• Inform management of system condition and recommend repair actions.
• Provide preliminary sketches and cost estimates for materials and services.
• Assist during emergencies by operating floodlights, generators, placing flares, and driving required vehicles.
• Manage and complete all service tasks assigned by management, including business management duties such as maintaining records, preparing reports, and ordering supplies and equipment.

• Associate Degree.
• 4-6 years of experience.
