As a Security Officer – Media Campus Unarmed Patrol in Crystal City, VA, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service. This Part‑Time role offers flexibility; you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform.

Position Type: Part Time
Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Thur 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
• Sat 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM

• Provide customer service by carrying out security procedures and site‑specific policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and problem‑solving.
• Conduct regular and random patrols to deter unwanted activity.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor management as required.
• Observe and report unusual activity or potential security concerns.
• Support Allied Universal and client staff during emergencies.
• Maintain a visible presence to deter unauthorized individuals from restricted areas.

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Access control or badge experience preferred.
• Minimum age 18 years for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to background investigation and drug screen per law.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Licensing requirements subject to state/local laws, may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.
