Garda World Security Services is now hiring a Response Security Officer for the role of High Level Security Officer.

As a Security Officer – Response, your role will vary depending on the day and special event. Whether it’s customer service, patrols, or surveillance, we need you to adapt with agility and precision.

• Petaluma 15–20 miles 35–45 minutes
• Richmond 20–25 miles 40–55 minutes
• Vallejo 25–30 miles 45 min – 1 hr. 5 min
• San Francisco 30–35 miles 1 hr. 10 min – 1 hr. 45 min
• Oakland 35–40 miles 1 hr. – 1 hr. 25 min
• Santa Rosa 45–50 miles 1 hr. 15 min – 1 hr. 30 min
• Clear Lake 75–90 miles 2 hrs. – 2 hs. 30 min
• Schedule: 40 hours opportunity (Monday to Sunday availability – exact days will be discussed during the interview.)

• Monitor the premises to ensure security
• Conduct patrols, on foot or on company vehicle to spot any suspicious activity
• Control access points and verify identities
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats
• Provide excellent customer service while maintaining security
• Write detailed reports on events and incidents
• Collaborate with authorities during serious situations
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property

• Be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Be able to provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
• 2 years security officer experience
• Valid CA Driver's License
• Clean Motor Vehicle Report
• Be able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening process
• Ability to think quickly and adapt to changing situations
• Responsive and strong problem solving skills
• Security, Military, or Law Enforcement experience – even better!
• State security license and additional 32hr. BSIS security trainings (additional security trainings can be obtained during the hiring process)
