• Observe and report per BSIS licensing guidelines and the mandates of the State of California Business and Professions Code. May exercise Guard Card powers of arrest as authorized by the Director of Security, Senior Management or under immediate circumstances when a felony or misdemeanor crime is committed.
• Communicate with the Security Supervisor and the Director of Security on internal and external investigations, maintain an open channel of communication with resort Management and all associates, participate in all Safety Programs, and meet all Training and Certification Requirements.
• Patrol the property to ensure the safety of guests and employees and protect hotel assets. Perform comprehensive documentation of all incidents, including Daily Activity Reports (DAR) and Incident Reports with detailed narratives and digital evidence where required.
• Use the CCTV system and other technologies throughout the Resort for surveillance. Report any and all incidents or accidents to the Manager on Duty; ensure that all Resort walking surfaces are safe and free of hazards.
• Work safely, enforce the use of Personal Protective Equipment and Safe Lifting Techniques, assist guests and employees in unsafe situations, provide customer service to guests while on duty, and support other Resort departments (Valet, Front Desk, Golf, etc.) as requested—including unlocking doors and escorting personnel.
• Respond to PBX, emergency calls and customer service calls in a calm and collected manner; assist in essential functioning of Resort Operations during times of crisis or need.

• Minimum 1 year of security experience; basic report‑writing and descriptive writing skills; basic Microsoft Windows proficiency.
• Good knowledge of computer systems and customer service skills.
• Ability to work any shift—including graveyard, weekends, and holidays—and respond to emergency calls calmly.
