Summer Internship
Join our hands‑on agronomy internship designed to give students real‑world experience in crop production and agronomic decision‑making. As an intern, you’ll work closely with experienced agronomists to learn practical skills that directly impact yield, soil health, and farm efficiency. A company vehicle will be provided for fieldwork and travel between sites.
Responsibilities:- Scout assigned acres throughout southwest Missouri to monitor crop growth and identify pest, disease, and nutrient issues.
- Participate in one‑on‑one, real‑world agronomy applications and field evaluations.
- Collect and analyze soil and tissue samples as part of the Baseline Rx program to support data‑driven recommendations.
- Support area custom application operations, including logistics and in‑field coordination.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Currently pursuing or working toward an agriculture‑related degree (preferred).
- Strong interest in agronomy and crop production.
- Self‑motivated, dependable, and eager to learn in a field‑based environment.
- Clean driving record required.
- Must be able to pass a pre‑employment drug test.
- Hands‑on experience in crop scouting and agronomy practices.
- Mentorship from professional agronomists.
- Exposure to agronomic technologies and field management tools.
- Networking opportunities within the regional agriculture industry.
- Practical experience using a company vehicle in daily field operations.
