Plant Pathologist - Research Technician job duties

Working in a clean laboratory and growth chambers with plants and soil and plant pathogens, culturing fungi and bacteria using sterile techniques.
Soil DNA extraction.
Maintaining inoculum cultures, plant inoculations, disease ratings, general plant care.
Working in a lab focusing on multiple plant disease assays.

Qualifications

Bachelors with plant Biology experience.
Knowledge in Entomology or Nematology.
Experience with plant pathology, soil processing, testing, maintaining pathogens.
Experience with infectious disease assays.
Growth chamber experience and able to work independently.
