Job Description

The University of Missouri-School of Medicine, Department of Neurology is seeking a thought leader to enhance our scope of neuroscience research. The ideal candidate will be an innovative physician scientist focused on Lewy Body Dementia (LBD), with a focus on its pathophysiology, biomarker development, and treatment strategies. Non-physician scientists will be considered with successful translational research program.

Qualifications

  • MD, DO, MD/PhD, PhD or equivalent degree in neurology, movement disorders, neurodegenerative diseases, or related disciplines

Candidates Will Be Evaluated On

  • A track record of research productivity and accomplishments.
  • Demonstrated potential to establish or maintain an internationally recognized, externally funded research program.
  • Robust publications in peer-reviewed journals.
  • A research focus on Lewy Body Dementia (LBD), with an interest in biomarkers and/or pathophysiology of LBD or related neurodegenerative disorders
