What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
  • Serve as the technical sales point of contact for worldwide sales leadership, providing insights for business decisions
  • Lead and coach the technical sales team, ensuring effective engagement in the sales process
  • Measure readiness and impact of the tech sales team, addressing capability gaps through targeted coaching
  • Coordinate communications between product and enablement teams for tailored materials on upcoming products
  • Accompany the Chief Revenue Officer on technical customer visits, delivering demonstrations and insights
What is Required (Qualifications)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field; an advanced degree is preferred
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in technical sales, sales engineering, or sales management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role
  • Strong technical acumen and understanding of Autodesk products and solutions
  • Proven leadership skills with experience in mentoring technical sales managers and teams
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
  • Advanced degree (MBA, MS) in a relevant field
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and sales enablement tools
  • Experience in developing technical sales methodologies and processes
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize insights into actionable business plans
