About

the Role

This individual will be responsible for the achievement of all sales/revenue goals and expense targets within the specified territory, focusing on the urology office. The Territory Manager will be responsible for developing and maintaining productive relationships with physicians, staff and administrators in targeted urology practices. Critical to business success is the requirement of adherence to established sales processes for key products proven to demonstrate predictable account conversion and retention success, measured by achievement of key sales process metrics.

The Territory Manager will also be responsible for developing key relationships internally, specifically with the Customer Service team, Clinical Education, Inside Sales Manager, the Sales Leadership team and Marketing.

Responsibilities
  • Implement new sales plans and effective marketing strategies to position the organization competitively and to meet/exceed territory objectives.
  • Be the Care Pathway expert in both the Urologist office and Hospital for all products.
  • Build and maintain key customer relationships with all current customers in the Office and Hospital care settings, prioritizing physician and administrative relationships.
  • Become a clinical and economic expert.
  • Drive continuous improvement in the sales process, continually driving new concepts and tools into the system.
  • Communicate with sales and marketing, sharing insights and knowledge that will help the company perform at a high level.
  • Adhere to the company Vision, Mission and Values.
  • Provide feedback to the organization regarding market opportunity, sales barriers and key market dynamics on a continual basis.
Qualifications

Required Qualifications
  • Two plus years’ experience selling medical devices, preferably in the urologic space.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Two plus years of clinical experience in the office or hospital operating room.
  • Experience selling to urology practice administration.
  • Demonstration of proven sale process skills leading to high levels of execution evidenced by year over year growth.
  • Prior success implementing, managing and successfully installing medical devices in the office setting.
Required Skills
  • Possess strong leadership and negotiation skills.
  • Skilled at managing complex selling processes.
  • Demonstrate an ability to implement and aptitude to develop complex selling processes.
  • Advanced written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills including proficient knowledge of medical terminology.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy; able to manage multiple tasks.
  • Strong prioritization and organizational skills; strong problem‑solving skills.
  • A sense of urgency as to objectives, timelines and milestones additionally, a contagious make‑it happen approach to the achievement of results.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing.
  • Legibly writing and communicating instructions and schedules.
  • Educating physicians and staff on the intricacies of SRS products prior to and during procedures.
  • Must be able to lift 50lbs.
