Job Summary

As a Regional Sales Manager, you will recruit new sellers for Tidal Grow Agrisciences, position products to deliver value, and maintain relationships to support future growth. You will identify opportunities across Tidal Grow’s portfolio and coordinate customer support to add value. The role involves cross-functional collaboration to maximize resources and deliver a positive experience to sellers and growers, while supporting the company mission, vision, and values.

Essential

Job Functions
  • Creating, maintaining, and managing relationships with key accounts and executing account plans to achieve sales targets and grow the business.
  • Visit key customers regularly to establish professional relationships with multiple contacts at various levels and maintain influence within key accounts.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing accounts and new customers; generate and follow up on leads.
  • Work with customers to understand their needs and explore solutions to industry problems.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction, timely delivery, and issue resolution.
  • Provide regular reports and feedback on account activity, including sales forecasts and customer feedback.
  • Represent the mission, vision, and values of Tidal Grow Agri Science with customers and stakeholders.
  • Attend regular sales meetings, trade shows, and grower meetings.
  • Stay current on industry trends, market conditions, and competitive activity.
  • Continuously improve technical knowledge through research, training, and certifications.
  • Provide input to the R&D Innovation team regarding customer needs and align product/offer innovation with account strategy.
  • Travel up to 50% to customer sites.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in agriculture, Business Administration, Marketing, or related field, and/or 10 years of sales experience in the agricultural industry, focusing on regenerative agriculture, plant nutrients, and crop protection products and services.
  • Strong knowledge of existing ag industry products, applications, and regulations currently being recommended by the industry.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing customer accounts.
  • Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned territory.
Licensing & Requirements
  • Local State Driver’s license and proof of insurance required by the time of hire.
  • Background check required.
Working Conditions
  • Travel required up to 50%.
