About the Role
As an Outside Sales Representative with Summit Truck Equipment, you will own and grow a multi-state territory by building strong relationships with customers who rely on their trucks to keep equipment running in the field. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on ownership, enjoys working face-to-face with customers, and understands the value of long-term relationships in a territory-based sales environment.
What You'll Do
- Own and grow a defined sales territory across Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama.
- Build long-term relationships with heavy equipment dealers and industrial fleet managers across the construction, forestry, mining, and energy sectors.
- Sell custom service and lubrication truck bodies mounted on heavy- and medium-duty chassis.
- Manage and expand an established account base while developing new customer relationships.
- Travel extensively within your territory to support customers and close opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver solutions that meet real-world customer needs.
What We're Looking For
- Proven success in outside sales, territory management, or relationship-based selling
- Experience with trucks, equipment, or industrial sales is a strong plus.
- Mechanical aptitude or industry-related experience preferred
- Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Valid driver's license and ability to obtain a CDL B
