Dollar General - - Responsibilities:
Recruit, select and retain qualified employees; provide training; conduct performance evaluations; identify gaps; up to termination.;
Ensure the store is properly staffed and open/closed each day; personally open and close at least twice per week.;
Evaluate operating statements to identify sales, profitability, turn, and expense control opportunities.;
Manage inventory: ordering, BSR/cycle counts, and ensure in-stock targets; review seasonal direction.;
Maintain merchandise presentation, pricing, signage, and overall store cleanliness and safety.
