Job Description

The following general description applies to all hourly store team members. Please read the detailed information listed below.

• Job Duties:
• Operate all equipment.
• Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, walk‑in cooler.
• Prepare product.
• Receive and process telephone orders.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.

• Training: Orientation and on‑the‑job training provided.

  Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions; communicate verbally with customers and co‑workers over the phone and in person.
• Essential Functions/
  
  Skills:
  
  Basic math (add, subtract, multiply, divide) accurately and quickly; make correct monetary change; verbal, written, telephone skills for order processing; motor coordination for precise movements; ability to enter orders using computer keyboard or touchscreen.

Conditions:

• Exposure to varying weather when removing trash and other outside tasks.
• In‑store temperatures range from 36 °F in cooler to 90 °F+ in some areas; sudden temperature changes may occur.
• Fumes from food odors; exposure to cornmeal dust.
• Cramped quarters, walk‑in cooler.
• Hot surfaces/tools up to 500 °F.
• Sharp edges and moving mechanical parts.

Sensory & Physical Demands:

• Telephonic communication; near and mid‑range vision; depth perception; differentiate hot and cold surfaces.
• Standing:
  Most tasks from standing position, walking surfaces include ceramic tile or bricks with linoleum in some areas; work surfaces 36‑48 in high.
• Walking:
  Short distances, short durations.
• Sitting:
  Paperwork at desk or table.
• Lifting:
  Deliveries up to 50 lb in bulk; cases stacked to 72 in high.
• Carrying:
  Large cans (3 lb), pizza sauce (30 lb), trays (≈12 lb each, 3 at a time).
• Pushing/Pulling:
  Trays on dollies 24‑30 lb, force up to 7.5 lb.
• Climbing:
  Infrequent stairs or ladder navigation.
• Bending/Stooping:
  At pizza assembly station, front counter, stocking shelves – ~30‑45 seconds; repeated >50 times per day.
• Crouching/ Squatting:
  Occasionally to stock shelves and clean low areas.
