We’re looking for a Piercing Lead who can become the heartbeat of a vibrant community of artists, explorers, and jewelry enthusiasts. • Own the end‑to‑end piercing journey: greeting, check‑in, styling, transaction, and post‑care education.
• Maintain a calm, professional demeanor and embody Mejuri values in every interaction.
• Promote the brand and build a strong local clientele.
• Readily share insights and opportunities on piercing products with Store Manager and Store Services.
• Collaborate on studio flow and process improvements with Store Manager.
• Manage schedules and online booking service with store staff.
• Provide thorough after‑care instructions tailored to each client, including any material‑specific signs of infection.
• Communicate risks, medical concerns and preventative care to clients before each procedure.
• Lead by example on the sales floor, training the team on Mejuri’s Steps of Selling.
• Ensure a positive experience while promoting services including piercing, engraving and other offerings.

• Oversee and manage all studio activities in partnership with Store Services and Store Manager.
• Support inventory management and collaborate with Operations Lead for optimal assortments.
• Maintain health and safety standards, interior cleanliness, sharps and biohazard waste handling.
• Enforce legal compliance: , waivers, local law updates.
• Develop deep knowledge of the piercing jewelry assortment (labret sizing, materials, gemstones, metals).
• Assist clients with check‑up and downsizing procedures.
• Provide style guidance, stacking suggestions, and expert product planning.
• Build appointment occupancy through education and promotion.
• Order consumables (needles, latex‑free gloves, sterilizer, alcohol pads, Q‑Tips, paper towels, etc.).
• Maintain all required paperwork and client record keeping.

• 2+ years experience with needle piercing.
• Experience with threadless jewelry.
• Up‑to‑date First Aid and Blood‑borne Pathogens OSHA certifications.
• Experience with an autoclave or statim.
• Legal permits or eligibility for local law enforcement or practitioner registration.
• Knowledge of local market piercing law requirements.
• Strong health and safety protocols for piercing procedures.
• Service excellence in a consumer environment.
