Cook; Evenings

We’re looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Cook to join our dietary team! If you enjoy preparing quality meals and working in a fast-paced kitchen, this role is a great fit.

Full-time, Evening Shift (12:30pm-8pm)

• Prepare and serve meals following menus and standardized recipes
• Ensure safe food handling, proper storage, and correct temperatures
• Follow production guides to prep the right quantities of food
• Assist with ordering, prep work, and timely meal service
• Prepare modified diets and meet residents’ nutritional needs
• Operate common kitchen equipment (ovens, mixers, slicers, steamers, etc.)
• Keep the kitchen clean—wipe down equipment, wash dishes, sweep/mop floors
• Support special meals and functions as needed

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years cooking in a large-scale or commercial kitchen (preferred)
• Long-term care or healthcare cooking experience is a plus
• Ability to follow recipes, maintain food safety standards, and work efficiently
