Position Summary
Responsible for delivering an exceptional guest experience by consistently providing excellent service, great‑tasting quality food, and a clean restaurant environment for all guests by performing one or more workstations in accordance with Popeyes procedures, systems, and standards, and 20/20 guest expectations.
Guest Expectations- Always says "YES" to the guest and uses the 3‑step process (Listen, Apologize, Fix) if a problem occurs.
- Is very knowledgeable and answers guest questions quickly and accurately.
- Stays calm and productive during busy times, takes ownership of fast service.
- Follows Popeyes uniform and grooming standards.
- Cares about looking nice and professional; shirt tucked in; hair contained with hat, visor or hairnet.
- Acknowledges each guest with a smile and treats everyone with care and respect.
- Ensures guests feel welcome and special by being ready, smiling, and following the Papaye Hospitality Model.
- Maintains restaurant cleanliness (interior and exterior).
- Is ready and prepared to serve guests, organized, and asks for help when necessary.
- Is a good team player and aids co‑workers when possible.
- Follows Popeyes Restaurant Policies regarding working hours, breaks, and schedules.
- Ensures food looks and tastes great, meets high presentation and temperature standards.
- Emphasizes food presentation and takes extra time if needed to meet standards.
- Shows a sense of urgency, hustles, begins cooking and assembling orders immediately.
- Offers consistent, quick service and is always ready.
- Communicates and works with team to ensure orders are accurate.
- Provides appropriate condiments, napkins, and bags.

- Ensures food is safe for the guest by following all food safety policies and procedures.

- Immediately welcomes and acknowledges guests.
- Takes and clarifies orders; assists with menu selection.
- Enters orders in POS, collects money, and provides change.
- Always thanks guests after order completion.
- Assembles orders, works with backup positions for timely, accurate preparation, and delivers orders personally.
- Maintains cleanliness and stocking of work areas.
- Interior
- Empty trash cans, sweep/mop floors, clean tables, chairs, windows, doors.
- Clean and stock restrooms.
- Clean equipment (drink dispenser, ice bins, POS).
- Wipe menus, order counters, and other interior items; visually check cleanliness.
- Exterior
- Sweep parking lot, drive‑thru area, sidewalks, curbs.
- Empty trash cans and clean exterior items (drive‑thru menu board).
- Clean drive‑thru/dumpster slabs; visually check cleanliness.
- Assembly
- Read video monitor and assemble products with correct ingredients and portioning.
- Package products, verify appearance, temperature, and order accuracy before delivery to guest.
- Discard expired or sub‑standard ingredients/products.
- Prep
- Defrost frozen products, place in proper containers, and follow FIFO rotation.
- Open packages, store correctly, and affix shelf life labels.
