Bistro Server

This part‑time position assists food and beverage services during regular bistro hours and event service. The role coordinates with the Bistro & Events Manager and maintains the company's standard for excellence through friendly service, teamwork, and effective operations.

• Communicate with guests about their order in a friendly and sincere manner.
• Provide a friendly experience for every customer while upholding hospitality standards.
• Interact with other service and cooking staff to ensure speedy and effective operations so guests receive their food quickly and accurately.
• Prepare dishes in the kitchen for certain shifts as needed.
• Handle food carefully and responsibly, following safe food handling practices.
• Maintain a professional appearance and mannerism in accordance with the dress code.
• Set up buffets for events with food presentation standards and practices in mind, ensuring safe food handling.
• Run food from the kitchen to the bistro or event room.
• Adhere to all applicable laws when serving alcohol.
• Maintain knowledge of policies and procedures.
• Maintain a positive and professional attitude.
• Clean the kitchen and event space after each event, assist with food storage, and close out tasks.

• 1 year serving experience.

• Carries a valid Louisiana Responsible Vendor permit.
• Professional and personable personality.
• Reliable transportation.
• Must be able to lift 35 lbs unassisted.
• Available to work weekends.
• Available for occasional evenings for events.
