Primary functionUnder the direction of the Executive Culinary Team, this position supports all culinary operations.
Responsibilities- Maintain a friendly, positive attitude and professional demeanor at all times.
- Direct, implement, and maintain a guest service and management philosophy for the team.
- Meet with the Executive Culinary Team to review assignments, anticipated business levels, changes, and other information pertinent to job performance.
- Ensure only high-quality product is served to guests.
- Demonstrate strong baking and pastry skills with knowledge of bread baking and advanced techniques.
- Maintain compliance with County Health/Sanitation and Legends Hospitality standards.
- Provide efficient service and quality products through effective communication and prudent financial practices.
- Ensure equipment is in proper operational condition and cleaned regularly.
- Rotate to other service locations when necessary.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
- Pastry degree or certified apprenticeship with 2–3 years of cooking experience in contract food service, preferably in premium services, catering, and concessions for a sports/entertainment venue.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to multi-task and prioritize in a deadline-oriented environment.
- Strong commitment to customer and client service; demonstrated initiative and leadership.
- Customer service oriented with ability to interact with all management levels.
- Flexible to work extended hours, including late nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Team-oriented and highly organized with attention to detail.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and provide positive guest service.
- Ability to make generalizations, evaluations, and decisions without immediate supervision.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must be able to obtain CA Food Handlers Certification.
- Must be willing to work hours that vary according to event schedule.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
Constant standing, walking, bending, reaching, and repetitive motions. Able to perform normal lifting of stock up to 50 lbs.
Compensation$18.60 per hour
