Things you will be responsible for:
Ensure that each guest receives outstanding service by providing a friendly environment which includes greeting and acknowledging every person, maintaining outstanding standards, solid product knowledge and all other components of guest service.
Assist general manager in offering suggestions on how to achieve the budgeted sales and maintain budgeted gross profit in all areas.
Control shrink, expenses and payroll.
Ensure appropriate stock levels, merchandise adjacencies and presentations; signing, and assortment in restaurant areas.
Review store trends and recommend changes for maximizing goals and objectives.
Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures.
Continually evaluate and communicate performance issues and actively recruit Food Service employees.
Train and develop store food service employees; direct and monitor training and development for employees on food service team.
Must be able to ensure product quality of all deli food items prepared consistent with state, local, and company standards, and ensure area is clean, neat and meeting company standards.
To land this awesome opportunity we prefer that you have a high school diploma or GED, as well as 1 year experience in the restaurant industry. In addition, we just ask that you complete our awesome training program, be food safety certified, and pass some required testing.

Physical DemandsWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items over 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
TravelVery minimal travel, with the occasional trip to support other stores, pick up product, or attend a meeting.
